Jazz Guard Production

Jazz Guard Production is an oxymoron.  No, I am not calling the back-court names I am just stating facts.  The day the Jazz trade D-Will to the Nets the Jazz back-court of Watson, Bell, Miles, and Hayward go 7 for 33 from the field with 10 assists and 12 turnovers in a 99 to 118 loss to Dallas.  The front-court trio of Kirilenko, Milsap, and Jefferson combined for 65 points on 26 for 41 shooting with 8 assists and 6 turnovers.

On a day when the Jazz decided to build for the future maybe the back-court woes need addressed, but maybe Devin Harris is the answer or maybe it will be the 2012 Golden State draft pick.  At this point the Jazz look likely to get caught by the Grizzlies for the 8th and final playoff spot.

It is a tough time for Jazz fans, maybe tomorrow will be a brighter day.  The real question is how many hours until tomorrow comes.

Deron Williams Rips Bucher & Broussard

"It sucks. I didn't think he would ever retire in the middle of the season," Williams said. "I watched the press conference and he said it was his time."

Williams then adressed the speculation by ESPN basketball analysts that he forced Sloan out stating, "All those guys, Ric Bucher, Chris Broussard, ... I'll let them report what they want to report, that's what they are paid to do. That's why I'm always short and rude with the media, because they're your friend. Ric comes in and sits by me every time I see him, acts like he's my friend, but the day they find something they want to spin, they jump on it. That's why I am the way I am and will continue to be the way I am... Me and Coach Sloan, I don't want to say a rocky relationship, but we've have our disagreements over the years. Probably no more than any other coach and player have arguments. We're both competitive, we're both very stubborn. I think that's where we clash. One thing we always agreed on is that we both wanted to win...I would never force coach Sloan out of Utah. He's meant more to this town and organization than I have by far. It's not my place."

BOOZER RETURNS!

What should Carlos Boozer fear most about his return to Salt Lake this evening?

Rabid Jazz Fans...? No. There is security.

Jimmer Fredette...? No. He will be busy putting up "28 footers" against the Air Force Falcons.

Deron Williams...after saying Derrick Rose is better on the Jim Rome Show? Close, but still no.

THIS IS WHAT HE SHOULD FEAR!

Welcome back to Energy Solutions Carlos, be careful.
