As the College World Series winds down so does the short time Rosenblatt Stadium has to host the great event. The 62 year old stadium is set to be demolished and used for additions to the nearby Zoo. What kind of "Animals" would destroy a beautiful piece of baseball for a few additional parking spots? The fact that this is College Baseball we are talking about makes the story of the demolition make sense. Of all the three major mens college sports baseball gets the least media coverage. Even the CWS which is an awesome event is vastly underrated in terms of media coverage. The point of this article is to look forward however with joy for one of this years final 2 teams. Either the South Carolina Gamecocks or the UCLA Bruins will be winning their schools first National Championship in baseball. That is something to be celebrated and we wish both teams the best of luck. Goodbye Blatt!
On a side note if you caught last weeks piece on "Bat Wars 2010" then you have the upper hand in picking the series winner before the first pitch is even thrown.
