Greatest Show On Dirt! 2010 CWS

Congratulations South Carolina Gamecocks on your 2010 Baseball National Championship.

What an amazing game, as the last to be played at Historic Rosenblatt Stadium it truly was awesome.  What better way to send the old stadium out than with an 11th inning walk of hit for a 2-1 victory.  In an era of aluminum bats and homeruns this was perfect.  South Carolina battled back after losing their first game in Omaha to bring their school its first NCAA National Championship.  It lived up to its name of the "Greatest Show On Dirt", and while we look forward to next year it will never be the same without Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium.  South Carolina's pitching was great and Jackie Bradley Jr was awesome as usual and deserved player of the tournament.  I saw this team play this year here in Arkansas and now proudly can say I saw the 2010 College World Series Champs play ball.  I still long for the day when the College World Series gets the coverage it deserves because it is always a great show.  We here at the Four6Three will be sad to see the old stadium go but at least the games will still be played in Omaha.

Congrats, Congrats, Congrats, and goodbye Rosenblatt!
